The 19th News, November 2025, in a sourced profile of McCullough: her time as Pelosi’s chief aide in the speaker role from 2019 to 2023 “was a tumultuous one that saw two impeachments of a sitting president, the COVID-19 pandemic and the January 6 attack on the Capitol.” The sitting president in those two House impeachments was Donald Trump. The House voted articles in December 2019 and January 2021. McCullough’s Speaker COS hire is dated March 2019. That is the overlap.
